Arabic serr (pronounced sirr). It refers to something hidden, concealed, or kept private. The plural form (secrets) is written as أسرار (asrar). In a Sufi or spiritual context, serr refers to the innermost secret or the heart’s hidden, divinely inspired knowledge.
