In practicality, we have been able to verify that when the occupation does not correspond to the vocation of the individual, then this one only thinks in terms of “more than.”

The “I” uses the mechanism of “more than:” “More money than, more fame than, more projects than,” etc., and as is hardly natural, it usually twists the subject into an hypocritical, exploitative, cruel, merciless, and intransigent person, etc.If we study bureaucracy in detail, we can then provide evidence that very seldom does a government job correspond to the vocation of the individual.

Have You Found Your ‘True’ Vocation?

If there is something truly important in this world, it is to know ourselves; yet, rare are those who know themselves. Moreover, even if the following statement seems incredible, in this life it is difficult to find a single person who has his vocational sense developed.

When someone is totally convinced about the role that he has to perform in his existence, he then makes an apostleship, a religion out of his vocation, thus, becoming—as a fact and by his own right—an apostle for humanity.

When we go to sleep most of us dream. These dreams are a projection of our mind. There is no point in recalling and analyzing them because they are just a reflection of the incorrect functioning of the mind.

Whether we are awake or asleep, it is imperative to not let the mind run wild. It should be subjugated to the master. This will bring us a greater degree of consciousness. A man who is fully conscious does not dream when he sleeps. By avoiding any projection of the mind he can have experiences of a higher nature with other beings or elementals.

One of the prerequisites to sleep is to still the body and mind. This is also conducive to meditation. Again, avoid a projection of the mind. Something else will provide the focus of your question or search. Samael Aun Weor
