Genius Lucis

The genius lucis is the Odic or magnetic force with which the animal ego is converted into cosmic dust. We must learn how to utilize the genius lucis in order to eliminate the “I. The genius lucis of man and woman can eliminate all of those entities that form the “I,” the “myself,” because it is the weapon used in order to destroy the ego.” – Samael Aun Weor, Tarot and Kabbalah

Prana

Prana is energy. Prana is Christ. That energy is the energy that palpitates in the heart of every existing thing. Everything: every rock, plant, fish, horse, planet, sun, universe, sun, is sustained by the fire of Christic Prana. That is why Christ is “the life, the light, and the way.” It is the energy of existence. It is the Ain Soph Aur. That prana, that energy vibrates in many different modalities, many different levels of existence, and it is what sustains everything. It is the great breath. Everything that is in you is prana, in different modifications. We live, we breathe, we exist, we are sustained by that force.

“Prana is the sum total of all energy that is manifest in the universe. It is the sum total of all the forces in nature. It is the sum total of all latent forces and powers which are hidden in men [and women] and which lie everywhere around us. Heat, light, electricity, magnetism are the manifestations of prana. […] Whatever moves or works or has life is but an expression of manifestation of prana. The prana is related to mind [Hod / Netzach] and through mind to will [Tiphereth], and through will to the individual soul [Tiphereth / Geburah], and through this to the Supreme Being [Chesed / Atman]. If you know how to control the little waves of prana working thorough your mind, then the secret of subjugating universal prana will be known to you.” – Swami Sivananda

Prana is not separate from us. It is not a concept. Prana is not a theory. Everything that exists is prana, but modified by cause and effect (karma).

Identification

We need to understand with precision what identification means. In the first part of that term we see “identity.” So then the meaning becomes very obvious. We are finding our identity in that experience, in that emotion, in that thought, and in that sensation.

When we become very angry, we are identified with our anger, meaning that anger becomes our identity, our I. That anger has become a vampire, a tick, a leech that is sucking up the light, the consciousness, that energy that is flowing through us, and it is using that energy to feed itself, to make itself fatter, to make itself more powerful. This is the difficulty: Identification.

When we become identified, we give up our connection with God.

Identification is the state of psychological sleep. It is a state in which the consciousness has become hypnotized and trapped by a desire.

John 1: 1-11

In the beginning was the (first) Logos, and the (second) Logos was with Elohim, and the (third) Logos was Elohim. The same was (Bareshith Bera Elohim) in the beginning with Elohim. All things (דברים debarim) were made by him (Yod-Havah Elohim יהוה אלהים); and without him (יהוה אלהים) was not any thing made that was made. In him (Yod-Havah Elohim Binah) was life (Chaiah); and the life was the light of men (אישים Yishim). And the light (of יהוה the Tetragrammaton) shines in darkness; and the darkness (upon the face of the abyss) comprehended it not. There was a man (Chesed, Geburah, and Tiphereth represented in the letter ש Shin) sent from Elohim (in Daath), whose name was John (Jesus, Moses, Mohammad, Krishna, Siddhartha Gautama, etc.). The same  came (as Lucifer, light-bearer) for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all (אישים Yishim) men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent (as Lucifer, light-bearer) to bear witness of that Light. That (יהוה Tetragrammaton) was the true Light, which enlighten every man (איש Yish or ש Shin) that (as יהשוה Yeshuah) comes into the world. He (as יהשוה Yeshuah) was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He (as יהשוה Yeshuah) came unto his own, and his own received him not.
