Blessed art Thou, O YHVH, God of Israel our Father, from everlasting to everlasting. Thine, O YHVH, is the magnificence [Chesed] and the power [Guevurah], the glory [Tiphéreth], the victory [Nétzah] and the honor [Hod]; for all [Kol=Yesod] that is in the heavens [Tiphéreth] and on the earth [Malchhut] is Thine. Thine, O YHVH, is the kingdom [Malchuth], and Thou art exalted above all. Riches and glory are from You, and You rule over all; in Your hand is strength and power, and in Your hand to make great and to give power to all. Now therefore, our God, we praise and extol Thy glorious name [IEVEH, IAO OUR TRUEGOD] (1 Chronicles, 29: 10-14).
In the Beginning
YHVH with wisdom [Jochmah] founded the earth; He affirmed the heavens with understanding [Binah]. By his knowledge [Dáat] the depths were divided, And the heavens drop dew. (Proverbs 3: 19).
To Be Sincere with Oneself
From the Chinese ideogram for Sincerity, which is a combination of “Word” and “Perfect”, one is tempted to draw a parallel between it and the Neo-Platonic doctrine of Logos – to such height does the sage soar in his unwonted mystic flight.
Sincerity
Veracity or Truthfulness, without which Politeness is a farce and a show.
